Cup of Joe

I know many of you have probably already know about Coffee Filter Wreaths, well I finally got around to making one! It's very easy to do and I think it only took me all of 30 minutes to do. And that was only because half of the time I was using an UN-plugged glue gun! Although, it's hard to be mad when this is who accidentally unplugged it:)

You will need a piece of cardboard, or material of your choice, cut into the shape of a circle, with the center cut out. The cool thing is that you can customize this whole project to your specifications! You'll also need coffee filters and a hot glue gun. Probably things you already have at home!

Once you have your circle cut out, fold your coffee filters in half and then twist. You can do them as tight or loose as you want, depending on the look you want to achieve.

Finally, start hot gluing your filters to the circle. I start with the outside and work my way in, for a layered look. These also look great with the natural colored coffee filters. I think I will try that next, the color would be great for fall! Here's the finished product hanging above our bed.

Let me know how yours turn out! I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day!
